Keynote Speaker case study

Investment Europe Magazine – Nordic Conference Summit

The events team at Investment Europe Magazine, part of the Incisive media brand events team were looking for a keynote speaker for their annual Nordic summit event at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden. They were finding it difficult to find an Artificial Intelligence expert from the Nordic region who could give their views, positive and negative, on the role AI may have in the workplace for fund and asset management industry professionals who were going to be attending the event.

Having showed the team some videos and a biography of a particular keynote speaker Thomas Anglero on our speaker roster that we thought would be a really suitable fit for the event, their team decided to book him. On the evening, Thomas gave summit delegates an intriguing insight into IBM’s own cognitive artificial intelligence solution and how he personally works closely with executives within the company creating new and disruptive business models that include AI. Thomas’s message is largely one of positivity and how companies can adapt to Artificial Intelligence and create roles for human workers, stressing reasons to be hopeful about the future rather than fearful and uncomfortable with change.

Client feedback

"Thomas’s keynote talk was a great insight into IBM’s day to day activity and processes. Our delegates, fund and asset managers & executives in the Nordic countries, left the evening with a feeling of positivity and many made lots of notes whilst Thomas was speaking, allowing to formulate their own ideas and plans moving forward on how to work with Artificial Intelligence within their own organisations”
