Conference – Jamil Qureshi, Signavio Business Leaders BPI Forum, Berlin, November 2021

We came to Adam as we were looking for a speaker that would inspire our audience of both employees and partners in Berlin last November.  

We had a rough brief initially – were looking for a headline keynote speaker on Day 1 of the forum conference that had a background in managing change, and teamwork and workload however we weren’t really sure how to go about finding the right person as we were a bit lost before speaking with Adam on a call. 

Our employees, leaders and partners come together once a year as part of the 3 day BPI Forum. 

Signavio as it has been growing is constantly going through huge changes and employees and partners and we wanted to give them a speaker who could advise on teamwork and ultimately success.  

After speaking with him giving him a general brief of the kind of speaker we were actually looking for he came back to us with a couple of specific options including Jamil Qureshi.

Adam helpfully explained to us that Jamil had a sports psychology background and that he had worked with some of the top golfers and footballers on managing change so he was quite different to what we have had in previous years as the headline keynote speaker.  

After some discussion within our team, I suppose we decided to take a calculated risk based on Adam”s suggestion.  

However, I have to say that risk completely paid off – Adam really did have a knack of listening to us and presenting us with the right type of speaker, especially when we were completely lost on ideas to begin with. 

So his help really helped us to narrow down exactly what we wanted rather than be overwhelmed by lots of options that weren’t relevant to our event.
