Niall McCann -Ernst & Young (EY) Eastern Europe Partner and Client Meeting, December 2022

Here at the COVERED Speakers Bureau we were recently asked by our client professional services firm, Ernst & Young (EY), to help find an engaging keynote speaker for their Eastern European team’s all hands internal meeting which was a chance to get both EY partners and clients together for a fun and engaging networking event during the start of the festive season before Christmas.

Elena Litova, EY’s Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications for Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania & Kosovo, was put in charge of organising the event which was held in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia.

Elena asked us to suggest speaker ideas who could speak in English as there were partners and clients from across four countries.

They wanted somebody with a fascinating story, somebody who was currently doing some really meaningful research or work, somebody perhaps around nature conservation who could offer something a bit different and entertain guests with their story and work.

COVERED suggested a few names including Niall MCcann

who is a National Geographic Explorer focusing on anti poaching and illegal wildlife trade, with ongoing projects in Africa and Latin America.

Niall is a seasoned adventurer who has rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, skied across Greenland, cycled over the Himalayas, and been on multiple rock climbing and mountaineering trips around the world.

The team loved the sound of having Niall at their event and booked him.
At the event Niall talked about several interesting themes including saving planet earth and overcoming challenges whilst mountaineering.

After his keynote talk for the EY audience, partners and clients were lucky enough to spend time with Niall who kindly stayed behind afterward his talk to answer their questions, and of course have a well-deserved drink in the bar!
